ABOUT US
ABOUT PERU
Peru is made up of mostly mountains and forests. Some cool ones to see are the Andes mountains, Vinicunca, and the Peruvian amazon. You might stay in one of the major cities (Lima, Cusco, Arequipa), or you might wwoof on a farm. Peru is world famous for its natives, the Incas. The Incas built The Inca ruins of Machu Picchu. While you are in Peru I would be a good idea to go on a hike or helicopter ride to get to the ruins. You can fly into the airport, over looking the mountains and the coastline or you can float across the Pacific into the local harbor, after visiting the Isle Del Sol or Taquile Island while admiring the mountains and forests from below. Year round the weather is mostly nice. A Peruvian Sol is the currency in Peru. 1 US dollar converts to about 3.23 Sols, but most places also accept US dollars. XE Currency converter is a great site to use when trying to figure out how much to pay. In Peru you will probably have alot of Pork, sweet potatoes, Chicken soup, Black pudding, blood sausage, and lots of fruit. To learn a little about safety concerns I recommend www.HowToPeru .com. In Peru most people are Roman Catholic. Housing goes for about US$ 1, 829 per square meter. You can also go to globalpropertyguide.com to see certain houses. But mostly in peru you need to have fun.
